About me
Anne Krenzin – Nutrition Scientist & Lecturer

Anne Krenzin

Diplom Nutrition Scientist & Certified Lecturer

As a qualified nutrition scientist with many years of teaching experience at a vocational college, I care deeply about explaining healthy eating to young people in an understandable way.

Nutrients and their functions in our body, as well as how to put together a good daily diet, can be very hard for students to grasp. This calls for truly practical and tangible explanations.

In more than 10 years of teaching, I never found the right literature for this purpose. Either the books were too simple and conveyed hardly any content, so I had to bring in further literature. Or they were too difficult, required too much prior knowledge of chemistry, and overwhelmed the students.

That is why I created my own teaching materials that meet exactly my needs and those of my students.

To strengthen learners’ digital skills, I decided to offer the complete digital textbook in the browser. This makes the complex topic more accessible and makes learning more fun – my experience has shown that the digital world has a greater influence on young people than a conventional textbook.

Teaching format

Teacher-centred learning

Of course, the digital textbook can also be used in teacher-centred lessons. With a smartboard or projector, you can make the content visible and audible to the whole class, so that everyone can learn together and discuss the content right away.
